Initial D: Second Stage (頭文字(イニシャル)D SECOND STAGE) is an anime based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno. It was produced by Pastel and aired between October 14, 1999 and January 6, 2000 in Japan. The anime was originally licensed for English-language distribution in North America by Tokyopop and has since been picked up by FUNimation Entertainment.
