I Shall Survive Using Potions! is a 2023 anime series based on the lighbt novel with the same name written by FUNA and illustrated by Sukima. It was published by Kodansha under their Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint on June 1, 2017. The original web novel of the series was published by Shōsetsuka ni Narō on November 3, 2015. The manga version of the series was illustrated by Hibiki Kokonoe, and was serialized in Kodansha's Suiyōbi no Sirius magazine from June 7, 2017 to November 15, 2021, with a total of 9 volumes. The sequel manga of the series titled I Shall Survive Using Potions! Continuation was illustrated by Futsū Onshin, and was serialized in Kodansha's Suiyōbi no Sirius magazine on August 1, 2022.
The anime series was announced on February 24, 2023.[1] It was animated by Jumondou, directed by Nobuaki Nakanish, series composition by Takayo Ikami, composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and it premiered in Japan from October 8, 2023 to December 24, 2023, consisting of 12 episodes. Crunchyroll licensed and produced an English Dub of the series, which premiered on their streaming service on October 21, 2023.[2][3]
Synopsis
Nagase Kaoru, a 22-year-old office lady, suddenly finds herself reincarnated in another world. To help her survive in this new world, a being that amounts to its god gives Kaoru a younger body and... the ability to make insanely overpowered potions?! The reincarnated Kaoru must use her knowledge and cheatery to survive!
