I'm Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? (ニートくノ一となぜか同棲はじめました, Nīto Kunoichi to Nazeka Dōsei Hajimemashita, 'For Some Reason I Started Living with a NEET Kunoichi') is a 2025 anime series based on the Japanese web manga series storyboarded by Yakitomato and illustrated by Kotatsu. Kotatsu started publishing the manga on his Twitter account on January 25, 2020, and started publishing it on Niconico Seiga's No. 9 Comic in February of that same year. ASCII Media Works started publishing the volumes in print in August 2021.
The anime series was announced on February 10, 2024.[1] It was animated by Quad, directed by Hisashi Saitō, series composition by Takashi Aoshima, music composed by CMJK, and it premiered in Japan from January 5, 2025 to June 22, 2025, consisting of 24 episodes.
Sentai Filmworks licensed and produced an English Dub of the series, which premiered on HIDIVE's streaming service on June 25, 2025.[2][3]
Synopsis
In order to protect an ordinary businessman, Tsukasa Atsumi, from demons, a genius kunoichi, Shizuri Ideura, signs a master-servant contract with him on the condition that she stays with him. Despite her cool appearance of defeating demons, Shizuri is an otaku NEET who spends all her time playing video games. While Shizuri is spoiled by Tsukasa and leads a lazy cohabitation life, the quirky Kunoichi gather together... A romantic comedy about living together with a genius Kunoichi who is an otaku and a NEET!
