Hitorijime My Hero is a 2017 anime television series based on the yaoi manga series with the same name written and illustrated by Memeco Arii. It started serializing in Ichijinsha's Gateau's magazine in February 2012.
The anime series was animated by Encourage Films, directed by Yukina Hiiro, and aired from July 8, 2017 to September 23, 2017, consisting of 12 episodes.
Sentai Filmworks licensed and produced an English of the series, which was released on Blu-Ray on October 30, 2018, before premiering on their HIDIVE streaming service in the United States and Canada on November 12, 2018.[1][2][3][4]
