His and Her Circumstances (彼氏彼女の事情, Kareshi Kanojo no Jijō, alternatively known as Kare Kano) is a 26-episode romantic comedy anime series produced by Studio Gainax and J.C. Staff, based on the manga by Masami Tsuda. The anime aired from October 2, 1998 to March 26, 1999 on TV Tokyo. The anime centers around high school students Yukino Miyazawa and Soichiro Arima and the trials and tribulations of their relationship.
