Haruka Tenou (天王 はるか, Tenou Haruka) is the civilian identity of Sailor Uranus (セーラーウラヌス, Seeraa uranusu).

Haruka is an older teenager with short, pale tan hair and dark blue eyes. She is the tallest Sailor Senshi.
Haruka is shown wearing masculine or unisex clothing, and there are zero to two instances of her wearing feminine clothing. She is often mistaken for a boy and doesn't correct people. In her introduction episode, Haruka wears the Mugen Academy winter school uniform for boys, a brown long formal suit jacket with the black Mugen Academy emblem at the left side, a white long-sleeved button-up shirt with a green neck tie at the collar, green and black checkered school pants, brown loafers with black soles, and white socks. At the end of the episode, she carries her brown formal suit jacket but without the tie, and her button shirt is partially open.
She also wears a boy's summer school uniform: a white short-sleeved button-up with a single pocket at the left side that retains her tie, school pants, and loafers from her winter school uniform.
Her primary casual appearance until the fifth and final season is a light yellow formal suit jacket with a green short-sleeved undershirt, matching white pants with a brown belt around her waist, and brown leather shoes. She also wears a necklace with a golden cross. In Sailor Stars, the color of her jacket and pants is gold.
