Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom is a 2010 anime based on an otome game with the same name published by Idea Factory. The original game was released in Japan on September 18, 2008.

Sentai Filmworks licensed and produced an English Dub of the series which was released for home video on September 25, 2012.

Synopsis

Disguised as a boy, Chizuru Yukimura has come to Kyoto, searching for her missing father. Soon, she stumbles across a battle between the Shinsengumi and the Furies. The Shinsengumi, who are also searching for her father, take her into their custody for safekeeping. However, there are even greater mysteries behind the whereabouts of Chizuru's father, and the Shinsengumi find that the Furies may be the least of their problems in Hakuoki Season 1!
