Giovanni's Island (ジョバンニの島 Joban'ni no Shima) is a 2014 Japanese anime film directed by Mizuho

Nishikubo and produced by Production I.G and co-produced and presented by the Japan Association of Music Enterprises (JAME).

Synopsis In the aftermath of WWII, Soviet Union soldiers occupy the small island of Shikotan and from this occupation a friendship forms between a young Japanese brothers, Junpei and Kanta and a Russian girl, Tanya striving to overcome language barriers and the waves of history.
