Gintama: The Very Final is a 2021 anime film based on the Gintama anime series. As the movie title says it, it is the final movie in the Gintama series.
It was animated by Bandai Namco Pictures, directed by Chizuru Miyawaki, and was released in Japanese theaters on January 8, 2021. Eleven Arts licensed the film and commissioned Sentai Filmworks to produce an English Dub of the film which was released in North American theaters from November 21–22, 2021.

- This makes it the fourth time overall that Gintama received an English Dub.
- The main Odd Jobs trio from Gintama° reprised their roles.
- A selection of voice actors from Sentai Filmworks reprised their roles from when they dubbed the first movie, while some characters were recasted.
- Greg Ayres and Jeremy Gee both replace Christopher Ayres as Kamui and Tatsuma Sakamoto due to his passing one month before the film was released in America.
- Joe Daniels replaces Illich Guardiola as Kotaro Katsura due to Guardiola being caught in a relationship with a minor in 2014.
- Ty Mahany and John Swasey replaces Kyle C. Jones as Katakuriko Matsudaira and Abuto.
- Elissa Cuellar replaces Shelley Calene-Black as Tae Shimura/Otae.
- Adam Gibbs replaces Simon Hayama as Utsuro.
- Characters that also originally appeared in both Gintama, and Gintama° were also recasted.
- Taylor Fono replaces Marlie Collins as Tsukuyo.
- Juliet Simmons replaces Caitlynne Medrek as Soyo Tokugawa.
- John Gremillion replaces Paul Louis as Umibozu.
- Carli Mosier replaces Jehane Seralles as Ayame Sarutobi.
- Luci Christian replaces Chantal Strand as Tama.
- Eleven Arts licensing and localization manager Amelie Khuat stated about the casting process and has said “It was important to bring back as many of the original cast as possible for the fans."[1]
