Genshiken (げんしけん) is a Japanese anime OVA series based on the manga by Shimoku Kio. The OVA serves as a sequel to the first season of Genshiken and prequel to the second season. The anime was released between 2006 to 2007 in a similar fashion to the Kujibiki Unbalance OVA to the TV series, with the OVA being released for every volume of Kujibiki Unbalance TV series. Media Blasters licensed the anime and released in 2008.
