Garzey's Wing

Garzey's Wing (バイストン・ウェル物語ガーゼィの翼 Byston Well Monogatari: Garzey no Tsubasa) is a 1996 OAV directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino. It was animated by J.C.Staff and was released from September 21, 1996 to April 9, 1997, consisting of 3 episodes.

An English-dubbed version was released in 2000, and became infamous among anime fans for its incoherent plot and stilted dialogue.

Synopsis
Yesterday, Chris's biggest problem was getting into a good college. Now, his spirit has been hijacked by wings of light, and transported into an ancient world. Summoned by an enslaved tribe to lead a bloody revolution, Chris must quickly adapt to his new surroundings... or die.
