Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf

Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf is a 2024 web anime based on the martial arts novel "Garōden", written by Baku Yumemakura. It was first released back on July 20, 1985.

The anime series was announced back on April 22, 2024. It was animated by NAZ, directed by Atsushi Ikariya, and premiered worldwide on Netflix on May 23, 2024, consisting of 8 episodes.

Synopsis
On the run from his troubled past, Juzo is forced into competing in a deadly underground fighting tournament. Skilled in the respected martial art Takemiya-ryu, Juzo must navigate a path filled with formidable foes and his personal demons — all while dealing with a bounty of three million yen on his head and a detective on his trail.
