Notes[]
- Unlike the original "Fate/stay night" series and film, the producers felt that the story took a different approach compared to the previous series, and Tony Oliver served as the show's voice director replacing Kristi Reed. Because of this, almost all of the voices from the original show are recast entirely, with some of the voice actors such as Kari Wahlgren, Crispin Freeman, Cristina Valenzuela and Matthew Mercer being carried over from the dub of Fate/Zero.
- However, Mela Lee, Stephanie Sheh, Tony Oliver and Julie Ann Taylor did reprise their roles from the original Fate/stay night as Rin Tōsaka, Illyasviel "Illya" von Einzbern, Lancer, and Taiga Fujimura respectively.
- One of the voice actors from the original anime, Lex Lang, does appear in the Unlimited Blade Works series, but he appears as Soichiro Kuzuki instead, replacing Patrick Seitz. Robbie Daymond replaced Lang as Issei Ryudo, whilst Seitz would appear in the Heaven's Feel trilogy and Camelot films as True Assassin.
- Similarity, Megan Hollingshead was in the original Fate/stay night anime as well, but she appears as Caster instead, replacing Tara Platt. The character Hollingshead voiced in the original anime, Bedivere, doesn't appear in Unlimited Blade Works.
- Megan Hollingshead's first new anime role for five years since Durarara!! in 2011.
- Rachael Lillis's first new anime role for eight years since Dinosaur King, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn & Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I as well her first debut role in LA.
- Aside from "Fate/Zero", this is the third and only English dub production of a Fate/stay night series to be unionized due to the appearance of Crispin Freeman, Kari Wahlgren, and Jessica DiCicco.
- As this dub was recorded in Los Angeles, three characters that made their anime debut in Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya had to be recast:
- Lauren Landa replaced Shelley Calene-Black as Luviagelita Edelfelt
- Rachael Lillis replaced Beth Lazarou as Sella
- Brianna Knickerbocker replaced Meaghan Avocato as Leysritt
