- Gabe Kunda replaces Rick Keeling as Panther Lily, due to Keeling moving in 2021. He was in the previous Fairy Tail anime where he played Arcadios.
- Bradley Campbell replaces Jim White as the 3rd voice of Igneel due to White's death on June 4, 2022.
- Landon McDonald replaces Brad Venable as Byro due to Venable's death on January 7, 2021.
- This is Newton Pittman's first new anime role for five years since Tokyo Ghoul: re.
- This is also Angela Chase's first new anime role for nine years since The Heroic Legend of Arslan.
- Morgan Garrett, who voiced Kiria in this anime, was previously in the previous Fairy Tail anime where she played Kamika of The Hungry Wolf Knights.

- Some of the voice actors that have been inactive for a very long time like Corey Cleary-Stoner, Eric Cherry and Angela Chase have returned to reprise their roles.
- Crunchyroll opted not to dub episode 13.5, likely due to its filler nature, and lack of relevance to the overall plot.
- David Wald announced his departure from his role as Gajeel on November 11, 2024 after accusing Crunchyroll of opening his private mail. However, Phil Parsons replaces him.
- This is Leslie Collins's debut anime role.
