Notes[]

  • This is the final known Dragon Ball movie to be dubbed by the AB Groupe.
  • The AB Groupe dub predates the FUNimation dub (presumably anyhow, as the exact date isn't clear, but 2003 is when their dub in general started to be distributed).
  • The Speedy Video dub of this movie is infamous for being bootlegged from the Cantonese dub. Several music and sound effect alterations are made to cover this up, although the Cantonese dub voices are still heard at numerous points. In addition, all of the characters’ names (except for Chi-Chi and Mr. Satan) have been changed to names translated from the Cantonese dub. For example, Krillin is called “Infinite Hands” and King Kai is called “Gay King” (a translation of his Cantonese name, “Gai Wong”).
