Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker (Japanese: ドラゴンエイジ ブラッドメイジの聖戦, Hepburn: Doragon Eiji Buraddo Meiji no Seisen, "Dragon Age: Crusade of the Blood Mage") is a 2012 Japanese anime film directed by Fumihiko Sori and based on the video game series Dragon Age.[1][2] The film explores the backstory of Cassandra Pentaghast, a major character in the Dragon Age universe, and how she became known as the Right Hand of the Divine. It was co-produced by BioWare, EA and anime distribution company Funimation Entertainment[3] and released in Japanese theaters on February 11, 2012.
Synopsis
In a time of darkness and barbarism, the Chantry has arisen - a religious order seeking to bring stability to a world corrupted by sinister magic. Led by the Divine, the Chantry's Templar warriors ruthlessly restrain the Mages and their magical cabals. But when the Templars fail, the most elite order of the Chantry takes charge - the Seekers!
