An edited English dub produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment aired on Disney XD in the United States from July 7, 2014 to May 12, 2017 and was given a TV-Y7 rating. A second season of the English dub premiered on Disney XD on June 15, 2015 and ended on September 1, 2015. An alternate version dubbed by Red Angel Media in Hong Kong and distributed by LUK Internacional in Spain would air in the United Kingdom.

Additionally, there's also a 3rd English dub made in India for Disney Channel in 2020, it initially only covered one episode and then went on hiatus until August 2023 when it returned with new episodes, however, not much is known about it.

Notes[]

  • The American English dub has been heavily modified to meet American broadcasting guidelines, censoring content deemed inappropriate for American children, as well as replacing many Japanese cultural elements with American cultural elements. Some modifications include Americanized character and gadget name changes from the English version of the manga, an episode order completely different from the Japanese episode order, nudity being heavily censored by adding steam, cloud effects, or clothing, and some episodes having several minutes of footage cut.
  • Starting February 1, 2016, the American version was re-imported to Japan and aired on Disney Channel Japan, providing an alternative re-recorded Japanese dub of the version as a secondary audio feed.[1]
  • While the Bang Zoom! and Red Angel dubs use the Americanized names previously used in the localized version of the manga, the Indian English dub uses the original Japanese names.
  • Interestingly, the Indian English dub uses the same lyrics for the opening as the Red Angel dub, with the American names of the Taki-copter (The Hopter) and the Dokodemo Door (The Anywhere Door) being used despite the characters using their original Japanese names.
  • This is Kristi Reed’s final voice direction in Bang Zoom! Entertainment as well final voice direction in dubbing before moving on to animation work.
