Notes[]
- Most of the cast from original series and Adventure tri. return to reprise their roles for the Last Evolution Kizuna, some actors were recast:
- Brian Donovan was set to reprise his role as Davis Motomiya. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he was unable to because of a fault in his home studio. The role was recast to Griffin Burns.
- Nicolas Roye replaced Vic Mignogna as Matt Ishida due to Mignogna's blacklisting for sexual harassment back in 2019.
- Interestingly, Roye was previously in the English version of Digimon Fusion as Mikey Kudo.
- Kate Higgins replaced Philece Sampler as Mimi Tachikawa, as her health was in decline and eventually ended up passing away in 2021.
- Jeannie Tirado replaced Tifanie Christun as Yolei Inoue due to the latter’s retirement from voice acting.
- Bryce Papenbrook replaced Philece Sampler as Cody Hida due to the character being much older and for the same reason as Higgins.
- Christopher Swindle replaced Neil Kaplan as Hawkmon and Aquilamon due to the latter having technical issues with his home studio at the time.
- Robbie Daymond replaced Dave Mallow as Upamon due to Mallow’s retirement from 2017 and Robert Axelrod as Armadillomon and Ankylomon due to his passing on 2019.
- Paul St. Peter replaced Wendee Lee as Minomon.
- This is one of Mari Devon's final acting role before her retirement and moving back to New York.
- This is one of the few projects produced at Studiopolis that was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic during the middle of production as several of the actors recorded the sessions at the studio before the shutdown. Joshua Seth was one of the last actors to record his session during the first weekend of the lockdown.
