Dies irae (ディエス・イレ, Diesu Ire) is a 2017 anime based on the visual novel by Light. It was published by Views in Japan for Windows PC on December 21, 2007.
The anime series was announced on December 18, 2015.[1] It was animated by A.C.G.T, directed by Susumu Kudō, series composition by Takashi Masada, music composed by Keiji Yonao, and it ran in Japan from October 7, 2017 to December 23, 2017, consisting of 12 episodes. The series announced its second cour for its continuation on March 14, 2018.[2] The second cour titled Dies irae: To the Ring Incarnation was listed an ONA series, and was relased in Japan with all 6 episodes on July 1, 2018.
FUNimation Entertainment licensed and produced an English SimulDub of the series, which ran on the FunimationNow streaming service from October 24, 2017 to January 9, 2018.[3][4] The English Dub for the second cour premiered on August 28, 2018.[5]
The DVD/Blu-Ray of the series was released on March 19, 2019.
