Dig Gi Charat Nyo! is a 52-episode anime series divided into two segments produced by Madhouse and directed by Hiroaki Sakurai. It was released between April 6, 2003 and March 28, 2004.
It is part of the Di Gi Charat franchise created by BROCCOLI and Koge Donbo. The series presents an alternative story with several differences from the original plot, working with the same characters but with their stories extended, maintining the touch of comedy that characterizes the franchise. The anime was dubbed in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and released in the United States by Bandai Entertainment starting on May 1, 2007. The dub only covered the first half of the series (episodes 1 through 72).
