It was animated by Nexus, directed by Yoshinobu Tokumoto, and it premiered in Japan from January 3, 2020 to March 20, 2020, consisting of 11 episodes. FUNimation Entertainment produced an English SimulDub of the series, which premiered on the FunimationNow streaming service on January 17, 2020.
Synopsis
An unpredictable battle of superpowers.
Kaname Sudo, an ordinary high school student, receives an invitation email to try a mysterious app called "Darwin's Game."
Kaname, upon launching the app, is drawn into a game where players fight one another using superpowers called Sigils.
Without knowing the reason for all this, can Kaname survive furious battles against the powerful players who attack him?
