Dubbing History[]

The series was originally dubbed by M.&M. Communications, Inc. out of Honolulu, Hawaii in the late 1970's, likely via commission by Toei Animation. The dub featured original Japanese singer Isao Sasaki singing the English themes as well. It is unknown if this dub ever made it to air anywhere, and if it did, no recordings likely survive. The only evidence of the dub is a Vinyl album released in October 1978 by Nippon Columbia.[1]
The series would later be edited as part of Jim Terry's anthology anime series Force Five in 1980, forming its second season. In 2009, the series would also later be edited into three compilation films produced and directed by William Winckler. These films would be aired on broadband in Japan as an educational tool for learning English.
