Comic Party Revolution (こみっくパーティーRevolution) is an anime series and serves as a sequel to Comic Party. Both anime are based on the visual novel of the same name by Leaf. The first four episodes were originally released as OVA's between December 22, 2003 to November 26, 2004 before producers decided to extended the series and airing the rest of the episodes from May 2, 2005 to June 27, 2005. ADV Films licensed the anime and dubbed it with a new Houston-based voice cast and released the series on DVD between 2006 to 2007. In 2008, the license was transferred over to Funimation.
Synopsis
A man-made island is located on the edge of Tokyo, well-off the beaten path. The time is drawing near when this island of cold concrete will be set afire with passion. People will gather here to draw manga, search for manga, and get passionate about manga! It's a joyous celebration of individuals who have staked their entire youths on doujinshi. It's the event known as: Comic Party! In this follow up to Comic Party, we rejoin Kazuki, Mizuki and all their friends a year later. Kazuki has grown more confident in his abilities as a doujinshi (amateur comic) artist. The rivalry between Yuu and Eimi has grown even fiercer, and Taishi is crazier than ever!
