Chu-Bra!! (ちゅーぶら!!, Chū Bura!!) is a 2010 anime series based the manga with the same name written and illustrated by Yumi Nakata. It was serialized and published in Futabasha's Comic High! magazine from January 22, 2007 to April 22, 2011, with a total of 7 volumes.
It was animated by Zexcs, directed by Yukina Hiiro, series composition by Reiko Yoshida, composed by Yoshihisa Hirano, and it aired in Japan on AT-X from January 4, 2010 to March 22, 2010, consisiting of 12 episodes.
Media Blasters announced the licensing of the series and an English Dub on May 15, 2023,[1] with the director announcing their part of the project on July 17, 2024.[2] The Blu-ray of the series released on March 11th, 2025.[3]
Synopsis
The story centers on Nayu, a middle school girl who shocks her schoolmates on the first day of school by wearing black lace panties. She likes this kind of underwear, and she tries to "spread the word on the merits of [these kinds of] underwear" via an underwear club with her schoolmates, who are worried about their bodies' development and which underwear to choose.
