Christian David Vandepas is an American voice actor, stage actor, and voice director based in Miami.

Biography[]

Christian was born and raised in South Florida. His parents were successful performers and traveled around the country and the world. He started performing at the age of seven with his mother and sister in a local group called Chip Diamond and The Gold Coast Kids gigging around the Fort Lauderdale area.

His love for theatre stemmed from his first production of Les Miserables in high school where he played the role of Gavroche. He began his theatrical studies at Broward College in Davie, FL and from there went on to New World School for the Arts; a conservatory affiliated with the University of Florida in Downtown Miami. It was there he received his Bachelors in Fine Arts degree specializing in Music Theatre. He has performed in numerous productions throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and West Palm Beach counties as well as for Orlando Rep in Orlando, FL. He received a Carbonell nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for the role of Buck Barrow in Slow Burn Theatre's production of Bonnie and Clyde. Additionally, he was named Best Supporting Actor of 2016 by the Miami New Times for his portrayal of Eugene Marchbanks in Gablestage's production of A Minister's Wife.

Along with stage acting he works as a voiceover artist at Universal Cinergia Dubbing and Centauro Comunicaciones. He is an avid drummer for a local metal band in Sunrise, FL and likes to go skateboarding. He currently lives in Miami with his beautiful and talented wife Idalmy and has two dogs named Barnaby and Cornelius as well as two cats named Finn and Roo.
