Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is a 2023 anime series based on the light novel series written by Ren Eguchi and illustrated by Masa. It was published by Overlap under their Overlap Novels imprint on November 25, 2016. The original novel version was published by Shōsetsuka ni Narō on January 5, 2016. The manga version was illustrated by Akagishi K, and was serialized and published in Overlap's Comic Gardo magazine on March 24, 2017.
The anime series was announced on October 29, 2022. It was animated by MAPPA, directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda, and it premiered in Japan from January 11, 2023 to March 29, 2023, consisting of 12 episodes. The second season was announced on October 29, 2023[1].
Crunchyroll licensed and produce an English Dub of the series, which was released on their streaming service on February 12, 2024[2].
Synopsis
Mukoda Tsuyoshi, an ordinary salaryman, is suddenly transported to another world one day. The unique skill he gains upon arrival in this world is the seemingly useless "Online Grocery." Mukoda is discouraged at first, but the modern foods he's able to bring to his new world using this skill prove to have some unbelievable effects!
