Bye Bye Jupiter (Japanese: さよならジュピター, lit. Goodbye Jupiter) is a 1984 Japanese science-fiction film written by Sakyo Komatsu, who directed the film alongside Koji Hashimoto.
Dubbing History[]
In 1984, Toho commissioned dubbing companies associated with Matthew Oram and Barry Haigh to produce English dubs for Bye Bye Jupiter, The Return of Godzilla, Macross: Do You Remember Love?, and Zero so that they could be exported to other countries or serve as a basis for foreign dubs. Although only four films are known to have come from this period, it is still possible that Matthew and Barry dubbed other films produced or distributed by Toho from that year as well.
Bye Bye Jupiter's dubbing cast consists of Matthew Oram, Elizabeth Oram, Carolyn Levine, Barry Haigh, Tony Moore, an unknown male voice actor of English descent, and another unknown male voice actor of English descent.
