Bye Bye, Earth (ばいばい、アース, Bai Bai, Āsu) is a 2024 anime series based on the Japanese fantasy novel series with the same name written by Tow Ubukata and illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano. Kadokawa Shoten have published two volumes in December 2000. A new edition written by Ubukata and illustrated by Hyung-Tae Kim was published by Kadokawa Shoten in four volumes between September 2007 and February 2008 under their Kadokawa Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation illustrated by Ryū Asahi was serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha's seinen manga magazine Young King OURs from January 2020 to July 2022, with its chapters collected into four tankōbon volumes.
The anime series was announced in November of 2022.[1] It was also announced that the series would be co-produced by Wowow, Sony Pictures, and Crunchyroll. The anime was animated by Liden Films, directed by Yasuto Nishikata, and it premiered in Japan from July 12, 2024 to September 13, 2024, consisting of 10 episodes. The second season was announced after the airing of season 1's finale.[2] The second season premiered on April 4, 2025.
Crunchyroll licensed the anime, announced an English Dub on July 25, 2024, which premiered on its streaming service on July 26, 2024.[3] The second season's English Dub premiered on April 18, 2025.[4]
