Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins is a 2000 American direct-to-video animated action comedy-adventure film that also acts as the first three episodes to the television series Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

The film was originally produced as a three-part pilot for the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV series, Disney was so impressed by the pilot that they decided to release it as a direct-to-DVD movie. Patrick Warburton originally provided Buzz's voice for the episodes much like in the main series, it was however decided to have Tim Allen dub over Warburton's lines. When the movie was later aired as the first three episodes of the television show Warburton's original voice was left intact.
