Bungo Stray Dogs (文豪ストレイドッグス Bungou Sutorei Doggusu) is an anime series based on the manga by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa.
Produced by Bones the series first aired in 2016 in two parts; the first season aired between April 7, 2016 and June 23, 2016, and the second season aired between October 6 and December 22, 2016.
An anime film, Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, was released in March 2018. A third season aired between April 12 and June 28, 2019. A fourth season aired between January 4 and March 23, 2023. A fifth season aired from July 12 to September 20 2023. Following the fifth-season finale, the anime's official Twitter account thanked fans for their continued support and concluded by stating that the anime was "not finished yet!!"
