Dubbing history[]
The first English-language dub was produced in Rome under the title of The Mask of Satan. After AIP bought the American distribution rights to the film, Samuel Z. Arkoff and James H. Nicholson commissioned Titra Studios in New York to produce a new version, as they found the original International dub too low in quality. The AIP version is slightly edited for content and features a different score, composed of music by Lex Baxter.
