Notes[]
- In contrast to the original anime series which was recorded in Dallas, Texas, by Funimation, the film was recorded in Los Angeles by Iyuno, Los Angeles. However, all of the Texas-based voice actors from the original anime series (e.g. Dallas Reid, Jill Harris, Christopher Sabat, Monica Rial, etc.) return to reprise their roles for this film via OkraTron 5000.
- Cris George who voice directed the dub for the original anime series did not return to direct the dub for "Sword of the Wizard King" with the voice direction being taken over by Michael Schneider. However, Cris did return as the voice of the Narrator.
- This is Steve Blum and Mara Junot's first anime dub at Iyuno, Los Angeles.
- "Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King" is notable for being the first American English dub production of "Black Clover" to be unionized, due in part to Netflix's dubbing agreement with SAG-AFTRA, hence union actor's appearance (Steve Blum, Mara Junot, Ben Diskin, and Ray Chase).
