Notes[]

  • In contrast to Funimation, which dubbed the first Black Butler anime series alongside two movies, this series is dubbed at Crunchyroll due to the merger happening. However, the original voice actors have reprised their roles including J. Michael Tatum as Sebastian Michaelis, Brina Palencia as Ciel Phantomhive, and Justin Briner as Edward Midford.
  • Abi Kumar replaced Christopher Ayres as Soma Asman Kadar due to his death in 2021. This is also Kumar's first anime role.
  • Los Angeles-based voice actors Jonah Scott, Michael Johnston, and Landon McDonald made guest appearances there
  • Gopal Bala replaced Patrick Seitz as Agni due to unknown reasons.
  • Austin Tindle, the voice actor of Vincent Phantomhive in this season, was previously in Black Butler II as Kidnapper (ep. 4).
