Beyblade Burst (ベイブレードバースト Beiburēdo Bāsuto) is an anime television series based on the manga series by Hiro Morita. It is the third series of the manga and anime franchise based on the Japanese toy line of the same name. It aired in Japan between April 4, 2016 and March 27, 2017, consisting of 51 episodes. Hasbro and Sunrights licensed the anime and the toy line in English, and is the first Beyblade English dub not licensed by Nelvana. The series aired on Teletoon between September 10, 2016 and October 29, 2017.
The story follows Valt Aoi; a hot-blooded kid who loves to attack and wields a Beyblade named Valkyrie. His close friend Shū Kurenai is an elite Blader who is a genius but still puts in a lot of effort, and wields the Beyblade named Spriggan.
To date there are 6 seasons broadcast in Japan: Burst (51 episodes), Burst God / Burst Evolution (51 episodes), Burst Chōzetsu / Burst Turbo (51 episodes), Burst Gachi / Burst Rise (52 episodes), Burst Superking / Burst Surge (52 episodes) and Burst Dynamite Battle / Burst QuadDrive (52 episodes).
