The film stars Indian actors Prabhas, Rana Daggubatti, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, and Nassar in the lead roles.

The screenplay was written by SS Rajamouli, based on a story by his father, K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. The film was released on July 10, 2015 in India, with an international cut releasing on Netflix.

Dubbing History[]

Baahubali: The Beginning was not dubbed in English until somewhere around late 2018, when the international cut was released on Netflix. The international cut included an English dub of the film, based on the Telugu version, not the Tamil version. The English dub is speculated to be recorded by Bang Zoom! Entertainment, a recording studio based in Los Angeles, California, although this all up to speculation as there are no credits verifying the English voice actors or crew, though many of the actors sound akin to regulars from the company.
