Dubbing history[]
There are two English dubs of the movie, both of which were recorded in Italy. The first version dubs the full cut of the film, though Coburn does not dub his own character. The second dub, featuring James Coburn dubbing his own lines and some partially changed music cues, was produced for the US domestic release and was cut down to 92 minutes. The longer dub, without Coburn, was recorded first. After the film was picked up for American distribution, the film was partially redubbed, with many lines being retained from the first version, but several characters receiving new voices and several of the previous voice actors coming back to record more sanitized versions of their dialogue.
