A Child Called Jesus (Un bambino di nome Gesù) is an Italian Christian miniseries that tells the childhood of Jesus of Nazareth.

Synopsis When Jesus returns to his native village after a seven year absence, the young boy, Mary and Joseph have to start all over again. But with the help of their relatives and friends, the little family soon resumes a normal life. Then one day Roman soldiers arrive and take all the men away as prisoners for forced labor. Jesus has to grow up without his father near him and only a deeply grieving mother.
